Ashwaubenon, Wis. \u2013 The Green Bay Rockers took the series opener against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 7-3.<\/p>\n

The scoring started in the first inning. After Tristin Garcia singled, Griffin Stevens hit a two-run home run to right to make it 2-0.<\/p>\n

Tyeler Hawkins scored the first run of the game for the Dock Spiders in the second, and Nick Mitchell tied it up with a solo home run in the third.<\/p>\n

Stevens reached on a fielder\u2019s choice which brought home Chase Hudson to give Green Bay the lead for good.<\/p>\n

In the fifth, Jayson Willers scored on a wild pitch, and Stevens singled home Clayton Slack.<\/p>\n

The Dock Spiders cut the lead to 5-3 in the sixth on a Parker Noland single in the sixth, but Slack singled home Jake Mastillo and Matt Scannell in the bottom of the sixth to make it 7-3.<\/p>\n

Tommy Leonzi started for the Rockers and threw five innings of two run ball and earned the win. He gave up two hits, two walks and struck out five.<\/p>\n

Kyle Stoddard got his second save this season in a four-inning relief effort, in which he gave up just one run on four hits. He struck out four and walked two.<\/p>\n

The Rockers look to sweep the Dock Spiders on Friday in the final matchup between the two clubs this season. First pitch from Herr-Baker Field is set for 6:35 p.m.<\/p>\n
