Yesterday, the Rockers dropped a 9-6 loss to Wausau at home, ending their 13-game home winning streak. Today, first pitch is set for 6:35 pm at Athletic Park. Tune in live and listen on WNFL 99.7 and 101.9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eddy Eveland (Delta State) will make his second start at Athletic Park this season, with a current ERA of 4.20 and a 2-2 record. Last time at Athletic Park was game two of a scheduled doubleheader, where the Rockers took game one but dropped game two. In game two, Eveland tossed seven innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits. His last start was arguably his best, throwing another seven innings, giving up just two runs on three hits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brayden Mazzacano (Illinois) will make another start as a two-way player, appearing for the sixth time on the mound for Wausau. In exactly 16 innings pitched, Mazzacano holds a 7.31 ERA, allowing 13 runs on 25 hits. He came on in relief in game one of the doubleheader, allowing two runs on three hits and totaled five innings of work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With their loss yesterday, the Rockers fell to 18-13 in the second half standings, now three and a half games out of first place with five games to play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Rockers return home on Wednesday, August 5, hosting the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters! First pitch is slated for 6:35 pm, with gates opening one hour prior at 5:30 pm. It&#8217;s Fan Appreciation + Kids Youth Sports Night!
