Kalamazoo finishes 0-6 in Traverse City\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Traverse City, Mich., — <\/span><\/i>The Kalamazoo Growlers fell to the Traverse City Pit Spitters 8-0 and fall to 0-6 at Pit Spitters Park in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n There wasn\u2019t very much offense for the Growlers, as winning pitcher Chad Patrick (4-4, Purdue Northwest) allowed only three hits in the ballgame. The rest of the Traverse City bullpen combined for two walks and a strikeout after Patrick went seven innings, striking out seven.<\/span><\/p>\n Kalamazoo got two hits in the third, one by <\/span>Jake Topolski <\/b>(Duke) and the other by <\/span>Zack Gelof <\/b>(UVA). The only other hit came from <\/span>Rudy Maxwell <\/b>(Duke) in the fourth.<\/span><\/p>\n JT Rogoszewski<\/b> (2-1, Central Michigan) was the losing pitcher for the Growlers after going just one inning, allowing two earned runs on one hit, three walks and one strikeout.<\/span><\/p>\n
