\n\t\"BELL'S<\/a>The Kalamzoo Growlers and Bell's Brewery are proud to announce the Funvitational Beer Festival set for Homer Stryker Field Saturday, September 12th. Read the official press release:<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tCOMSTOCK, MI <\/strong>– Bell’s Brewery will celebrate 30 years of brewing in Michigan this year.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTo mark that milestone, we’re inviting breweries and our fans to the Bell’s 30th<\/sup> Anniversary Funvitational Beer Festival<\/a> to say thank you to all of our fans, customers and partners.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at Homer Stryker Field, part of Mayors Riverfront Park and home to the Kalamazoo Growlers<\/a> in downtown Kalamazoo.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe festival will feature more than 100 breweries from Kalamazoo, Michigan and elsewhere. Some of those breweries may not currently distribute to Michigan. There will be games, live entertainment and local food with all proceeds going to charity.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“We have been brewing in Kalamazoo for almost 30 years and we are extremely proud of where we got our start,” said Laura Bell, Bell’s Vice President.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“This festival is a celebration of that heritage, our community and our fans,” she said.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“We’re finalizing the brewery list now, but it was decided early on, that every brewery in the immediate Kalamazoo area would be invited,” she said.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTicket sales info will be announced in early April. Tickets for this rain or shine event will not be available online. They will initially be released based on a mail order lottery system, and then sold on-site at Bell’s General Store and Eccentric Café.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“We want to make sure that everyone who wants to come will have a fair chance to get tickets. We also did not feel comfortable relying on a website that could be overwhelmed. We want this whole experience to be as fun and hassle free as possible,” Bell said.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tEach ticket will cost $45 and will include 12 beer tasting tokens, each good for a 4 oz. pour, a special commemorative tasting glass as well as food tickets. Additional tasting and food tickets will be available to purchase at the festival.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
