With this in mind, the team combined for 21 hits and 7 homeruns. This offensive output lead to an 18-1 win for Green Bay over the Kalamazoo Growlers on &ldquo;Make a Difference Monday.&rdquo;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Growlers took a one run lead in the first inning with a Dan Robinson single that drove in Sam Griggs. From that point on, it was all Bullfrogs who rattled off 18 consecutive runs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Bullfrogs answered by scoring two in the following inning and took the lead 2-1. Chad Mabini singled to right field to score Colton Onstott, followed by a Laren Eustace sacrifice fly to score Jonah Davis.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe third through sixth is where the Bullfrogs started flexing their muscles against the Growlers. Marcus Shoemaker led off the inning with a double. Two batters later Matthew Hoeg would single to push across Shoemaker and extend the lead to 3-1. Green Bay then had back-to-back homeruns off the bat of Colton Onstott and Brian Lees to make the score 5-1. In the fifth inning, Onstott would double to left field to score Hoeg, the next batter, Lees, hit a two-run homerun to make the lead 8-1. In the sixth inning, Chad Mabini pushed the score to 9-1 on a solo homerun.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGreen Bay did not let their foot off the gas pedal in the late innings. Mabini hit his second homerun of the night on a three run shot to left field, then five batters later Hoeg would hit a three run homerun himself. In the ninth inning, Lees would hit his third homerun of the night and Eustace would add to the homerun derby with a two run homerun.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLost in the offensive showcase by the Bullfrogs was the great pitching performance by Green Bay pitcher Luke Lind. Lind went 8 innings with only surrendering five hits, one run, and striking out four.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe lone bright spot from this game for the Growlers was Dan Robinson of Central Michigan University, extending his hit streak to 12 games.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Growlers will travel to Wisconsin for the first of their four road games this week. The Growlers will begin their two game series with the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Tuesday night with first pitch at 6:35 p.m. CTD at Athletic Park.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t###\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<i>The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players.
