2025 Coaching Staff<\/h1>\n

Field Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aidan Wirshing<\/strong> enters his second year as the Field Manager for the Kenosha Kingfish. In the summer of \u201820 and \u201821 he was an Assistant Coach for the Waterloo Bucks.<\/p>\n

When not in Kenosha, Wirshing serves as the Director of Player Development at Davidson College.<\/p>\n

Prior to Davidson College, Wirshing worked for two years at Gardner-Webb University. He also worked as an Assistant Coach for a summer in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Orleans Firebirds.<\/p>\n

The Topanga, California native played baseball at Santa Barbara City College, where he later served as an Assistant coach. He finished his studies at UC Santa Barbara. Wirshing is very excited to work and build relationships with the players and to get to be apart of the Kenosha community.<\/p>\n

Jackson Horner<\/b> is from Twin Falls, Idaho, and is currently working on the baseball staff at Dickinson State University where he is the Graduate Assistant and works with both catchers and hitters. Before that he played 4 years at Linfield University. Jackson is looking forward to his summer in Kenosha.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong>Jordan Nelson<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Iowa City, IA, Jordan Nelson joins the kingfish as the pitching coach for the 2025 season. He spent 5 years at the University of Dubuque earning a Bachelor Degree in Human Health Science and a Master Degree in Management. Nelson spent 4 years in the Northwoods league as a player, spending 2018 with the Waterloo Bucks, 2019-2020 with the Rockford Rivets until he returned to Waterloo to finish the 2020 season where he first met Kingfish manager Aidan Wirshing. Nelson returned to Waterloo in 2021 until he signed a professional contract to play with the Gary Southshore Railcats in the American Association. Jordan spent the 2022 season in the pioneer league with the Boise Hawks, and finished the 2023 season with the Great Falls Voyagers. He was signed by the Missoula Paddleheads but was released following spring training. Jordan lives in Cedar Falls, IA with his wife Faith and their labradoodle Millie.<\/p>\n

James Marshall<\/strong> is from West Linn, OR, and is currently an assistant coach at Linn-Benton Community College who just won the 2025 NWAC championship. The previous 2 years, James was the Director of Operations and infield coach at Gardner-Webb University. James received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University where he was a team manager for the baseball team.<\/p>\n
