\n\t\tThe Kenosha Kingfish take the final game of the series against the Green Bay Bullfrogs 11-0, thanks to a strong performance from Trevor Haas and Jordan Romero.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t <\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThe bats came alive for the Kingfish in the 2nd<\/sup> inning. Zach Ratcliff started things off with a walk, followed by a single from Pat Porter. Taylor Douglas then reached first on fielder’s choice, which resulted in Ratcliff scoring the first run of the game.  Jordan Romero topped things off with a powerful home run to drive in Douglas and put the Kingfish up 3-0.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t <\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThings stayed positive for the Kingfish into the 3rd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> innings as well.  In the top of the 3rd<\/sup>, Godinez was walked to bring up Ratcliff. Ratcliff hit his second home run of the season,  putting the Kingfish up 5-0 after three innings.  Jordan Romero hit a double in the <\/span>4<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> <\/span>inning and to drive in Sisler on the play. The Kingfish tacked on four more runs and led 9-0 after the <\/span>4<\/span>th <\/span><\/sup>inning.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t <\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tTrevor Haas was at his best tonight with 7 innings pitched, 5 strike outs and only 3 hits. The sophomore right handed pitcher from Valpo was on cruise control for most of the evening and turned in an impressive 7 innings of shutout work. The Bullfrogs had difficulty with their pitching, as starting pitcher Tyler Buss gave up 9 hits in only 3 and 2\/3 innings pitched. The Bullfrogs also had 4 errors on the night with 2 of them in the top of the 4th<\/sup>.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t <\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tKingfish fans hope this winning trend continues with tomorrow’s home opener. The Kingfish now sit at 3-1 and lead the South Division.  Start time is at 6:05 p.m. for the inaugural season against the Mankato Moondogs. The game will be at the newly renovated historic Simmons Field.  <\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n
