\n\tKenosha, Wis. – In the first game of the series against the Kalamazoo Growlers, the Kingfish won 7-4.  Against the Growlers this season, the Kingfish are 4-1 and are hoping for a sweep tonight at <\/span>5:05p.m.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking to do his part is right handed pitcher Steven Klimek.  Klimek has a 3.76 ERA and has struck out 15 players on the season, tied for third most on the team.  In his last start, Klimek ran into some trouble against the Battle Creek Bombers and suffered his first loss of the season. He looks to tonight for redemption and his first win.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tStarting for the Growlers will be pitcher Ryan Colgate.  Colgate and the Kingfish met not long ago in Kalamazoo for a two game series. Duffy Dyer’s team won that game by a score of 12-5. His last two starts have resulted in losses and with the Kingfish bats heating up, they hope it will be another big night at the plate. The Growlers main concern will be stopping Pat Porter, who is hitting .438 against Kalamazoo this season and shows no signs of slowing down.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLast night’s success put the Kingfish back at .500 on the season. They sit six back from first but are in striking distance to the fourth place Madison Mallards.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Kingfish play the Lakeshore Chinooks tomorrow<\/span> evening at 7:05 p.m.<\/span> with the Human Cannonball in attendance for post-game entertainment.  Monday night’s game also is Guarantee Win Night, where fans will win no matter the score. The Kingfish start their next home series on Wednesday, July 2nd<\/sup> against the St. Cloud Rox at 7:05p.m.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
