\n\tKenosha, Wis. – After returning home from a four game road trip, the Kenosha Kingfish take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 7:05 p.m. tonight at Simmons Field.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Kingfish improved to 6-4 on the year after Thursday night’s 8-4 victory against the Battle Creek Bombers. Alex Borglin slapped a two RBI single in the ninth inning to put the Kingfish on top. Zack Weigel went 3-4 with two RBIs. Power hitter Nick Sergakis hit another home run, his fifth on the year. On the mound, Ryne Blanton started the game and went three and one thirds inning. Kingfish reliever JR Holloway picked up the win after pitching a scoreless eighth inning. The Kingfish are now in sole possession of second place in the Northwoods League South Division. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tAnthony Olson gets the nod to start for the Kingfish tonight. Last time out, Olson collected the win versus Lakeshore. He threw six plus innings of work, allowing six runs and striking out five while not allowing a walk. The Kenosha native is part of a Kingfish pitching staff that is only allowing opposing batters to a .254 average so far this year. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tJake Johansmeier opposes Olson on the bump for the Rafters. Johansmeier picked up the win his last time out, allowing one run on five hits at La Crosse. The right hander also struck out five batters and owns a 1.58 ERA on the year for the Rafters. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Human Cannonball will make his 2015 debut at Simmons Field following tonight’s game. The Human Cannonball, “David “The Bullet” Smith” will appear on Saturday, June 6th at Lynch Chevrolet to perform a second launch for fans. Friday is also Miller Lite Fireworks night, immediately following the game. On Saturday, the Kingfish host the Rafters at 6:05 p.m. Kenosha Limos and Kaiser’s Pizza & Pun present Holloywood Night. Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home Fireworks will light up the sky after Saturday’s game. Tickets are still available for both contests.\n<\/p>\n
