\n\tLast night’s game resulted in a walk off win for the Kingfish. The Kingfish entered the ninth inning trailing 4-3 before the bases were loaded for Hunter Alexander with no outs. After a passed ball allowed Mitch Gasbarro to score and tie the game, Hunter Alexander singled home Jack Sundberg to claim the 5-4 victory for the Kingfish. Callahan Brown picked up the win after coming on in relief in the eighth and ninth innings. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tManager Duffy Dyer hands the ball to PJ Schuster for tonight’s game. The righty has made two starts on the year and has compiled an 0-1 record with a 4.50 ERA. Schuster also has 13 strikeouts in 12 innings of work. Last week against Battle Creek, Schuster surrendered two runs on five hits and struck out eight batters in seven strong innings.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tDerek Kawlewski will oppose Schuster on the mound for the Rafters. Kawlewski on the year is 0-1 in two appearances with a 2.16 ERA and eight strikeouts. In his last start at Madison, the Stevens Point resident threw seven innings of four hit ball, allowing two runs along with striking out seven. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tTonight at Simmons Field, Kenosha Limos and Kaiser’s Pizza & Pub present Hollywood Night. Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home Fireworks will light up the sky after Saturday’s game. Sunday, the Kingfish play host to the Madison Mallards at 1:05 p.m. Sunday is Columbia College of Missouri Military Appreciation Day and the Kingfish will wear camouflage jerseys. A Petting Zoo sponsored by Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm will also be set up at Simmons Field. Tickets are still available for both contests.\n<\/p>\n
