\n\tKenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish (8-4) go for four straight victories when they take on the Madison Mallards (7-4) at 1:05 p.m. at Simmons Field today. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tKingfish starter PJ Schuster pitched six strong innings to earn the win in last night’s 7-1 victory over Wisconsin Rapids.  Alex Borglin and Mitch Gasbarro both had two RBIs on the night.  The win moved the Kingfish into sole possession of first place in the Northwoods League South Division and a half game up on Madison in the standings.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJosh Serio gets the nod on the hill for Kenosha today.  The RHP is 2-0 on the year and owns a 0.00 ERA.  In two starts, Serio has struck out 15 batters, good for second on the team and among the league leaders in the Northwoods League.  The sophomore at UW-Parkside has become one of Manager Duffy Dyer’s most reliable starting arms this season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAJ Bogucki opposes Serio on the mound for the Mallards.  Heading into the game, Bogucki has made one appearance on the year, pitching two scoreless innings of relief on June 3rd<\/sup> against Green Bay.  Madison has the best team ERA in the Northwoods league with a 2.07 ERA.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tToday is Columbia College of Missouri Military Appreciation Day. A Petting Zoo sponsored by Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm will also be set up at Simmons Field. Monday’s 6:35 p.m. game at Simmons Field is Candlewood Inn and Suites Guaranteed Win Night.  A free ticket for all fans in attendance will be awarded if the Kingfish lose.  It is also Delton Grand Wisconsin Dells Night.  1,000 Wisconsin Dells coupon books will be handed out and make sure to enter for a chance to win a hotel stay.
