Volunteering for the community build is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of history in Kenosha.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe mission of the KDPP is to develop a safe, fully inclusive, accessible playground that will allow children of all abilities to play together, learn from each other, value each other&rsquo;s differences, and find strength to overcome challenges, thus creating a truly integrated environment where compassion, acceptance, and friendship can flourish.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Kingfish fully believe in the need for an accessible and inclusive playground in the Kenosha area.&nbsp; The Kingfish applaud the efforts by the KDPP and will continue to support their mission to build an accessible playground for all children.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlease stop by the Kenosha Dream Playground Project table during the 2015 season at Simmons Field to help the KDPP and the Kenosha area.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTickets and merchandise for your Kenosha Kingfish are on sale now. The Kingfish Ticket Office powered by Platinum Systems is open from&nbsp;8:30am&nbsp;to 7pm, Monday&nbsp;through Friday and 9am to 1pm&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;at Simmons Field, 7817 Sheridan Road in Kenosha.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t###\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>The Kenosha Kingfish are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st&nbsp;season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (OAK).
