\n\tKenosha, Wis. – The first place Kingfish (20-12) host the Mankato MoonDogs (16-15) at Simmons Field tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m. The Kingfish hold a one game lead over the Green Bay Bullfrogs and Madison Mallards in the Northwoods League South Division with four games remaining in the first half.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mallards beat the Kingfish by a final of 11-4 in Madison last night.  The Mallards tagged Rico Garcia for eight runs, including three home runs, in two innings of work. Matt Bower pitched six innings to pick up the win for Madison.  Nick Sergakis, Alex Dunlap, and Alex Borglin all collected two hits and one RBI for the Kingfish in a losing effort.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tManager Duffy Dyer will hand the ball to EJ Trapino for tonight’s game.  Trapino made his first start of the year last week in Green Bay. The lefty went three plus innings with four strikeouts and five runs allowed on six hits.  Trapino is limiting opponents to  a .238 batting average this year.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the mound for the MoonDogs is Austin Warner.  The lefty is 1-0 with a 2.49 ERA in five starts this season.  Warner has 27 strikeouts on the season, including 18 combined K’s in his first two starts.  Warner and the MoonDogs are currently three and a half games out of first place in the Northwoods League North Division. \n<\/p>\n
