\n\tKingfish Sign Right-Handed Pitchers Skogsbergh and Anderson<\/u><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tKenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish have added two right-handers to their pitching staff for the 2016 season. A staff last year, which had a team ERA of 3.82, will now feature Bobby Skogsbergh and Reid Anderson.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSkogsbergh is a sophomore at Boston College. Originally from Hinsdale, Illinois, the Eagle had a great freshman campaign with an ERA of 2.22. He made 19 appearances that season for Boston College, 10 of which were in ACC play. Over the course of his last 9.2 IP during the season, Skogsbergh did not let up a single earned run.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAt Hinsdale Central High School, he was named to the All-Conference team with an ERA of 1.69. He was a Rawlings preseason All-American and put on the 2012 Chicago Scouting Association team. He was able to get the job done in the classroom as well, as he was awarded conference All-Academic honors and enrolled in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnderson is in the midst of his junior season at Millersville University. The New Egypt, New Jersey native posted an ERA of 3.28 last season. Opposing batters were only able to hit .237 off of him, and drew a mere 12 walks. Over the course of his last 8 appearances (16.1 IP), he surrendered just a single run and ten hits (0.55 ERA).\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnderson is a converted position player turned pitcher. He made the switch for the 2015 season and it has worked nicely. In high school, he was also a member of the school’s basketball team. On the diamond, he set school records for home runs and RBIs and was honored as the team MVP.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth players are excited to join the Kingfish in Kenosha. The Kingfish will open up play this summer at home against the La Crosse Loggers on May 31 at 7:05 CST.  \n<\/p>\n
