\n\tKenosha, Wis. – Fans may nominate a teacher to win a Kingfish VIP prize pack and the winning teacher will be honored on Educators Credit Union Teachers Appreciation Day at Simmons Field on Thursday, June 30th<\/sup>.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTo nominate your teacher, write a short blurb to describe why your teacher is so special and submit your entry at Educators Credit Union. Branches in Kenosha, Racine and Sturtevant are collecting submissions now. Kenosha branches are located at 4215 Green Bay Road and 900 Wood Road (UW-Parkside). Racine branches include 3525 Rapids Drive and 1400 N Newman Road. Educators Credit Union in Sturtevant is located at 1300 90th<\/sup> Street.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRegistration will close on June 24th<\/sup> and a winner will be selected. The winning teacher will receive 4 VIP Patio Tickets, unlimited ballpark food, soda and water through the 5th<\/sup> inning and the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Kenosha Kingfish are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, 150 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (CHC).
