Kenosha, Wis. \u2013 The Kingfish (11-18) end their homestand winning four of their last five, ending with a victory of the Green Bay Bullfrogs 5-2.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fish only needed two pitchers Friday night, starting with Cale Cuddie (UW-Stevens Point) who earned his second win of the season. His final line was a very solid 5.1 innings pitched, giving up two runs on six hits and striking out two. He lowered his ERA to 3.73 after his great start. <\/span><\/p>\n

Jack Zimmerman (Kent State) earned his first save of the year after his fantastic performance closing the game. He went the final 3.2 innings allowing no runs and no hits. On top of that he allowed no walks and struck out three Bullfrogs. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the Bullfrogs, they used three pitchers for Friday\u2019s game. Starting on the mound was Ryan Gomes (Arizona) who went 2.2 innings, allowing only two runs on two hits, but seven walks caused his night to end early. Elijah Baez (St. Bonaventure) relieved Gomes and went 3.2 innings, allowing three runs on four hits. He got his first loss of the year after allowing the three runs in the fourth inning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The last pitcher for Green Bay was David Toth (Hillsdale College). He had the best performance out of the Bullfrog pitchers, throwing 1.2 innings and allowing no runs, no hits and striking out two. <\/span><\/p>\n

Offensively for the Fish, they were lead by Scott Dubrule (Jacksonville), Evan McDonald (Fairleigh Dickinson) and Will Wagner (Liberty University). Dubrule went 2-5 and scored once, keeping his hot hitting alive. McDonald had one hit on the night and it drove in two runs, while Wagner had a two RBI triple to get the Fish started on their way to the victory. <\/span><\/p>\n

The next games for Kenosha are this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and the take on the Rafters in the Wisconsin Rapids. They then travel to Lakeshore on Monday before returning to Historic Simmons Field for a doubleheader against the Chinooks on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The probable on the mound for tomorrow for the Fish is Kaleb Schmidt (Drury University), and for the Rafters it is Josh Aguilar (Bellevue University). First pitch is set for 6:05 pm. <\/span><\/p>\n
