Kenosha, Wis. \u2013 The Kingfish (27-29) keep up their hot streak against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (33-23), taking them down 10-5. Nine of the ten runs for the Fish came in the second inning when 13 batters came to the plate.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the mound for the Kingfish tonight was Kevin Napoleon (Butler) who got his second start of the summer. He earned his second win after throwing five innings, totalling five runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out four.<\/span><\/p>\n

The only relief pitcher of the night for Kenosha was Brady Kais (McHenry CC) who put together his best appearance of the year. He pitched the last four innings of the game, not allowing a run on two hits, not allowing a walk and striking out five. This performance earned him his first save of the summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dock Spiders sent five pitchers to the mound Saturday night, starting with Jacob Kostyshock (Arkansas). He got his first loss of the season after only going 1.2 innings, allowing eight runs on six hits and striking out one. A couple errors defensively caused five of those eight runs to be unearned.<\/span><\/p>\n

First in relief was Nico Tellache (Oregon) who went only one third of an inning, allowing one run on two hits. Alex Alfonso (Keiser University) was next, going three innings and allowing no runs on three hits in his solid appearance. <\/span><\/p>\n

The two relievers that closed the game out for Fond du Lac were Nate Madej (Florida Southwestern) and Connor Cook (UW-La Crosse). Madej went two innings and allowed one run on one hit along with one strikeout. Cook came in for Madej in the eighth inning, allowing no runs, no hits and striking out three. <\/span><\/p>\n

Offensive stars for the Kingfish were Will Wagner (Liberty University) and Jack Weiller (Virginia). Wagner ended the night going 2-5, knocking in his 23rd RBI and scoring twice. Weiller went 3-5 including his sixth double of the year, his 24th and 25th RBI\u2019s, walking twice and scoring twice. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kingfish look to build on their three game win streak when they take on the Dock Spiders in their last meeting of the year. Kaleb Schmidt (Drury University) is the probable for the Fish on Sunday, July 29th, in their final game of the homestand at 4:05.<\/span><\/p>\n
