The Kenosha Kingfish are in the hunt for a home playoff game at Historic Simmons Field. The Kingfish (22-10, 35-31) have a 3.5 game lead in the NWL South Division second half standings. If the Kingfish win the second half, they would host a home at 7:05 pm, Monday, August 13th<\/sup>. The magic number for the Kingfish to clinch a spot is three.<\/p>\n

The Kingfish have a 3.5 game lead over the Battle Creek Bombers. Any combination of three Kingfish wins or Bombers losses would result in Kenosha clinching a playoff berth. \u00a0The Kingfish are ahead of the Madison Mallards by four games and can eliminate Madison of the second half title by a combination of two Kingfish wins or Mallards losses.<\/p>\n

Playoff tickets will go on-sale to the general public at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 8th<\/sup>. Fans may purchase tickets for any of the possible playoff games and will be refunded or credited for 2019 tickets, if the potential playoff games are not played.<\/p>\n

Potential home games include:<\/p>\n

Monday, August 13th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 If the Kingfish clinch the NWL South Division second half title<\/p>\n

Tuesday, August 14th<\/sup><\/strong> –\u00a0 If the Kingfish win August 13th and have a better overall record than remaining South Division team.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, August 15th<\/sup> \u2013 17th<\/sup><\/strong> \u2013 Summer Collegiate World Series; best two of three series. The team with the best overall record will host games two and three (if necessary). The other team would host game one on August 15th.<\/p>\n
