Brown Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>RHP Caleb Larson (Illinois) made the start for the Kingfish and threw five shutout innings giving up three hits with six strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>Kenosha started out the scoring with two runs in the top of the second. C Ryan Knernschield (Eastern Illinois) and 3B Roberto Pe\u00f1a (Florida) singled in the first two at-bats of the inning.<\/p>\n<p>Knernschield went first-to-third on a pick-off error by Bombers starting pitcher Lyle Hibbits (Tyler Junior College) and was driven in by Pena on his first hit of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the inning Pe\u00f1a scored on a passed ball and the Kingfish led 2-0 into the middle of the frame.<\/p>\n<p>In the top of the sixth Kenosha extended the lead 3-0 after DH Nate Thomas (St. Joseph\u2019s) scored on a wild pitch.<\/p>\n<p>Hibbits was removed after the sixth inning. He finished his night giving up three runs on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>The Bombers tied the game 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh on three hits off Kenosha\u2019s bullpen.<\/p>\n<p>The Kingfish gave up four runs on four hits in the eighth inning to give the Bombers a 7-3 lead they would not relinquish.<\/p>\n<p>LHP Troy Hickey (Madison College) picked up the loss on 0.2 innings in relief.<\/p>\n<p>The Kingfish continue their four game road trip Tuesday night in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
