\n\tWaterloo, Iowa- La Crosse drops their 6th<\/sup> consecutive game, this time giving up a 6-3 lead to fall to the Bucks 8-6.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth offenses came out sprinting from the gate. Mason McCoy <\/strong>(Iowa) was hit by a pitch to leadoff the game. Cullen Large <\/strong>(William & Mary) doubled, putting runners on 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> with one out. Grant Fennell <\/strong>(Nevada) singled in McCoy. Lorenzo Hampton Jr. <\/strong>(California) followed with a double, bringing in Large <\/strong>and Fennell.<\/strong> Kevin Collard <\/strong>(San Diego) hibvhcht in Hampton Jr. <\/strong>for a 3rd<\/sup> consecutive hit. By the end of the inning, La Crosse was up 4-0.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAdam McGinnis <\/strong>(Western Illinois) homered after two walks, putting 3 runs on the board for Waterloo.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Loggers took two back in their 2nd<\/sup> inning. Grant Fennell <\/strong>and Kevin Collard<\/strong> (San Diego) each brought in runs on sacrifice hits.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the Bucks took another run in the half of the 2nd<\/sup>, Waterloo tied the game up with 2 runs in the 3rd<\/sup> on a sacrifice fly by Jake Hand <\/strong>(Southern Illinois) and a single by Robert Neustrom <\/strong>(Iowa).\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAdam McGinnis <\/strong>struck again in the 4th<\/sup> inning, giving the Bucks their first lead of the game with a sacrifice fly, scoring Taylor Boyd <\/strong>(St. Joesph’s).\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth bullpens settled down after giving up runs in six of the first eight half innings, throwing two straight scoreless innings.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAlex Boxwell <\/strong>(Minnesota) tripled to lead off the 7th<\/sup> and added an insurance run for Waterloo on a groundout to second base by Adam McGinnis. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBrett Solano <\/strong>(Menlo) earns his 3rd<\/sup> win of the season (3-1) with his 5 inning start. He gave up 6 runs on 8 hits. He walked 3 and struck one Logger.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tGraham Spraker <\/strong>(Quincy) gave up only 1 run on 1 hit, but still took his first loss of the season (0-1).\n<\/p>\n

\n\tCullen Large <\/strong>did have a great game tonight, going 3-for-3 from the plate with two walks and a run.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLa Crosse falls to 14-14. This will be the first time the Loggers have not had more wins than losses since June 11th<\/sup>. Waterloo keeps pace with St. Cloud for the North Division lead (19-8). La Crosse and Waterloo play two tomorrow. Game one is in Waterloo at 11:05 am with game two in Copeland Park at 7:05 pm.
