\n\tIn a scoreless game going into the 3rd<\/sup> inning, Griffin Conine <\/strong>(Duke) took the second pitch he saw for a home run. Luis Trevino<\/strong> (Houston) singled and Garrett Zech <\/strong>(South Florida) doubled, putting runners on 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> with no one out. Mason McCoy <\/strong>(Iowa) scored Trevino <\/strong>on a groundout to the shortstop and Justin Wylie <\/strong>(San Diego State) singled in Zech <\/strong>to jump out to a 3-0 lead.\n<\/p>\n \n\tAlex Boxwell <\/strong>(Minnesota) brought in the Bucks first run of the game with a single that scored Taylor Boyd<\/strong> (St. Joesph’s).\n<\/p>\n \n\tGriffin Conine <\/strong>doubled with one out in the 4th<\/sup> inning. He ended up scoring because of an error on the Waterloo third baseman Tyler Curtis <\/strong>(Lynn)\n<\/p>\n \n\tAfter Waterloo took another run in the bottom of the 4th<\/sup>, the Logger offense kept rolling in the 5th<\/sup>. Cullen Large <\/strong>singled to lead off the inning. Grant Fennell <\/strong>(Nevada) moved him over to 3rd<\/sup> with a double. Large <\/strong>was thrown out a home plate by Bucks’ second baseman Taylor Boyd<\/strong>. Griffin Conine <\/strong>drove in another run on his 3rd<\/sup> hit with a single that scored Fennell. Luis Trevino <\/strong>(Houston) brought in Kevin Collard <\/strong>(San Diego) to give the Loggers a 6-2 lead.\n<\/p>\n
