Friday\u2019s Pac-12\/Big 10 matchup against Minnesota saw both Blas and Williams in the starting lineup, as Blas ripped an RBI double down the left field line in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> inning and Williams went 2-for-5 in his second career start for the Wildcats.<\/p>\n<p>Former Logger Nick Kahle and incoming Logger Braiden Ward represented the Washington Huskies at the DQ Classic, while six members of the UCLA Bruins roster have also been Loggers including Jake Hirabayashi, Jeremy Ydens, Jack Ralston, Gavin Johns, and future Loggers Jarron Silva and Kevin Kendall.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend was highlighted once again by Duke catcher Michael Rothenberg as the freshman continues to impress in the middle of the Blue Devils\u2019 lineup. Rothenberg had a trio of multi-hit games last week, going 7-for-16 with six RBI, including a career-high four-RBI game in Saturday\u2019s win over Cornell.<\/p>\n<p>Incoming Loggers continue to dominate on the mound at their respective schools, as five future Loggers (Frontzak, Larkins, Matthews, Price, and Roa) have been excellent out of the bullpen this season, combining to post a 1.05 ERA in 34.1 innings of relief work. Sean Frontzak has yet to surrender an earned run for Saint Louis, while Liberty\u2019s Garret Price is up to 17 strikeouts with just one walk in 9.2 innings of work after an impressive outing against the #20 ranked North Carolina Tar Heels.<\/p>\n<p>Other weekend notables include USC\u2019s Jamal O\u2019Guinn who continues to have an immediate impact for the Trojans, going 2-3 on Sunday vs. #5 ranked Arkansas. The freshman standout is hitting .313 on the season with an impressive .984 OPS. Newly signed left handed pitcher Tyler Butzin is off to an outstanding start for the 16-4 Madonna Crusaders of the NAIA, going 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in three starts while striking out an incredible 31 batters in 19.0 innings.
