The left-handed-hitting middle infielder went 4-for-10 batting second in the Bruins\u2019 lineup, adding a pair of walks, two runs scored, and swiping three bases in the series. Redshirt freshman Jarron Silva also made an impact in Friday\u2019s extra inning victory, advancing the winning run to third base with a pinch hit double in the 10<sup>th<\/sup> inning.<\/p>\n<p>Liberty\u2019s Garret Price had yet another dominant weekend in the Flames series victory over UNC Asheville as he tossed 2.1 shutout innings in game one on Friday, allowing just one hit and striking out six. Price appeared again in game three on Saturday, adding one shutout inning and two more punch outs to pick up his second win of the season. Price continues to fool hitters as he is up to an incredible 34 strikeouts in 20.1 innings of work.<\/p>\n<p>Brady Acker tossed a gem for Nova Southeastern as the Sharks swept conference rival Palm Beach Atlantic to improve their record to 17-9 on the year. Acker was dominant all day, allowing just one run on four hits and striking out seven over 8.0 innings to pick up the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Returning Logger Mason McMahon provided another dominant start for UW-La Crosse against #6 ranked Concordia Chicago over the weekend. McMahon went 6.0 strong innings in Friday\u2019s wild 16-inning loss, as the Eagles\u2019 ace punched out 14 batters while allowing just one run on two hits.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona\u2019s Jacob Blas has reached base safely in five straight games, going 5-for-13 last week and scoring five runs during the Wildcats\u2019 series victory over Washington State.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable performances by future Loggers included Eric Mock\u2019s 2.0 shutout innings for Penn State against Big Ten opponent Rutgers, and Shane McGuire\u2019s 3-for-8 weekend for San Diego as the freshman knocked in a pair of runs against Pacific University. Pete Hamot also tossed 7.0 quality innings for Lewis, scattering nine hits and three runs in a loss to Indianapolis while Duke\u2019s Bill Chillari provided 3.0 more perfect innings with four strikeouts in his second mid-week start of the season, a 9-5 win vs. Mid Eastern Shore.<\/p>\n<p>Check back next week for more updates on how your Loggers are performing during the college baseball regular season, roll Logs!<\/p>\n<p><em>The La Crosse Loggers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
