Games will rarely be postponed before the game\u2019s original starting time. All efforts will be made to play every game. Remember, weather varies from city to city, and in all likelihood \u2013 thanks in large part to the wonderful AstroTurf infield \u2013 the Steam will play ball!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Rainy Day Terminology<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>

Rain Delay<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

A rain delay is when the game is officially delayed. Play will continue later in the evening. Tickets cannot be exchanged in the event of a rain delay.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Postponed Game<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

A postponed game is when a game starts and then is postponed due to inclement weather before a game becomes official. (After the 5th inning if the game is not tied, or after the top of the 5th inning if the home team is ahead)<\/p>\n<\/div>

Rainout<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

A rainout is when a game never begins and is canceled. When this happens, the game is usually rescheduled into a double header the next time the two teams meet.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What happens in the event of a rainout?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>

In the event of bad weather, the best place to find out if the game has been canceled or postponed is our website at www.lacrossesteam.com or on the Steam social media sites. If we need to cancel a game, we\u2019ll immediately put a story on the website describing any details of when the game will be rescheduled and how to redeem your tickets.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Steam Rainout Policy 2025: NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>

    If a game is rained out prior to the conclusion of the<\/span> 5th<\/span> inning, all tickets for reserved seats can be redeemed at the <\/span>La Crosse Steam<\/span> Ticket Office for any other game remaining in the 2025 regular season.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

    If a game is rained out prior to the gates opening, all tickets can be redeemed at the La Crosse <\/span>Steam <\/span>Ticket Office for any game remaining in the 2025 regular season, based on availability.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  • <\/i><\/span>

    If the rainout occurs <\/span>two (2) <\/span>hours after the gates have opened, regardless of how much of the game has been played, all picnic and field club tickets will be considered used in full and can only be redeemed for a reserved seat for another game during the 2025 regular season, based on availability. If three (3) innings have occurred, a picnic is also considered used in full.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

    If the rainout occurs less than two (2) hours after the gates open, field club tickets will be valued as a half-price field club coupon and can be redeemed for any other game remaining in the 2025 regular season, based on availability.<\/span><\/div><\/li>

    If the game is shortened due to rain but has been played beyond the required <\/span>five (5)<\/span> innings to make it a complete game, all tickets will be considered used and will have no value at the La Crosse <\/span>Steam <\/span>Ticket Office.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ul>
