\n\tLakeshore center fielder Luke Meeter <\/strong>(UW-Milwaukee) scored on a Michael Morman <\/strong>(Valparaiso) sacrifice fly in the first. Third-year Chinooks DH Ryan Krill <\/strong>(Michigan State) had an RBI single that scored second baseman Jake Noll <\/strong>(Florida Gulf-Coast) as well.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe MoonDogs scored on wild pitch by Chinooks starter Colin Wendinger<\/strong> (St. Thomas-MN) in the fifth to make it 2-1.\n<\/p>\n \n\tIn six innings, Wendinger (1-0, 1.50 ERA) issued one run on seven hits. He walked one and struck out three Mankato hitters.\n<\/p>\n \n\tKyle Wood <\/strong>(Purdue) went 2-3 in the game. The DH Krill hit a single off Mankato reliever Austin Warner that scored Wood in the eighth.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe MoonDogs starter Ethan Greene (0-1, 3.17 ERA) suffered the loss. He gave up two runs on four hits in five and two-thirds innings. Greene struck out six.\n<\/p>\n \n\tLakeshore relievers Jake Tuttle<\/strong> (UW-Milwaukee) and Andrew Elliot <\/strong>(Wright State) pitched three combined shutout innings. The right-hander Elliot struck out two and recorded a save.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe Chinooks (2-2) head on a four-game road trip June 1. They travel to the Battle Creek, Michigan to play the Bombers on Saturday and Sunday. The team will also face the Kalamazoo Growlers on Monday and Tuesday.
