\n\tBrett Siddall <\/strong>(Canisius) blasted a two-run homer in the sixth, and the Chinooks won game one of their doubleheader, 5-4.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLakeshore starting pitcher G.J. Strauss<\/strong> (Florida Tech) gave up two runs in the first. Left fielder Alex Bacon advanced to first on an error by first baseman Ryan Krill <\/strong>(Michigan State). Strauss issued a walk to Pete Alonso. Bacon then scored on a single by Paul Dudek.  Right fielder Brian Rodemoyer had an RBI sac fly in the same inning, and the Mallards led 2-0.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Chinooks responded in the second. Madison starter Alex Pondick hit both Siddall  and Sawyer Polen <\/strong>(Kent State) consecutively. The pair tied the game on a single by Carter White <\/strong>(Memphis).\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the third, Strauss walked Paul Dudek to start the inning. Rodemoyer collected his second RBI of the game that scored Dudek. Madison took a 3-2 lead.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSecond baseman Jake Noll <\/strong>(Florida Gulf Coast) had a solo home-run that tied the game in the bottom of the inning.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSterling Koerner <\/strong>(Florida Gulf Coast) replaced Strauss. He tossed three and two-thirds innings and received the win. Andrew Elliott <\/strong>(Wright State) picked up his fourth save of the season.  \n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe second game of the doubleheader will begin 30 minutes after the first game. On Tuesday, the team will go on a five-game road trip against the Mallards, Kingfish and Woodchucks. They will return home on Sunday, June 22 for a six-game home stand.\n<\/p>\n
