The game will be hosted by the<br \/>\n\tLakeshore Chinooks and will be played at Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University. The All-Star<br \/>\n\tFestivities will kick-off with the All-Star Banquet on Monday night, July 21, 2014 to be held at the Ozaukee County<br \/>\n\tFair Grounds in the Columbia St. Mary&rsquo;s Center. The featured speaker will be the Commissioner of Baseball, Allan<br \/>\n\tH. &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; Selig. In addition to Commissioner Selig the teams will be introduced by the Honorary Managers, Jim<br \/>\n\tGantner for the North Team and Robin Yount for the South Team. Live entertainment will follow the program.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;s an honor to be able to host the Northwoods League All-Star Game with all the tremendous talent on the field,&rdquo;<br \/>\n\tcommented Jim Kacmarcik, President of the Lakeshore Chinooks. &ldquo;In addition, to be able to have Milwaukee<br \/>\n\tbaseball icons, Commissioner Selig, Robin Yount and Jim Gantner involved in the festivities is really a blessing and<br \/>\n\ta treat for the fans.&rdquo; Dick Radatz, President of the Northwoods League added, &ldquo;We&#039;re excited to display our top<br \/>\n\ttalent in our newest facility among so many distinguished guests.&quot;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOn game day, Tuesday, July 22nd, the gates will open at 3:30pm. Players will rotate through the VIP Photography<br \/>\n\tAutograph Zone until 5:30pm. The Home Run Challenge will begin at 4:45pm and feature a unique format. Nine<br \/>\n\tplayers from each division will represent the North and South teams. Each player will receive six outs in their half<br \/>\n\tof the inning and a nine inning competition will take place. The team with the most Home Runs hit after the nine<br \/>\n\tinning exhibition will be declared the winner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe actual Northwoods League All-Star Game Presented by Fiduciary Management, Inc. will begin at 6:45pm.<br \/>\n\tHonorary Managers for the game will be former big league players, Robin Yount and Jim Gantner both of whom<br \/>\n\tspent their entire playing careers in Milwaukee. Between the two of them they spent thirty-seven years in the<br \/>\n\tMajors. &ldquo;It will be fun to get a chance to manage these young, talented players for the night,&rdquo; said Yount.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTickets for the All-Star Banquet are $60 per person and can be purchased by calling the Lakeshore Chinooks offices<br \/>\n\tat 262-618-4659, seating is limited. Tickets to the Tuesday Northwoods League All-Star Festivities including the<br \/>\n\tautograph session, Home Run Competition and the game are $15 for Reserved Box, $10 for Reserved Grandstand<br \/>\n\tand $7 for General Admission and can be purchased by visiting lakeshorechinooks.com or calling the Lakeshore<br \/>\n\tChinooks offices.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>The Lakeshore Chinooks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the<br \/>\n\tNorthwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League draws<br \/>\n\tsignificantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for<br \/>\n\tcoaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League<br \/>\n\tBaseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan<br \/>\n\tZimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
