The Chinooks were well represented in a number of categories.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tChinooks manager Eddy Morgan was named Manager of the Year for the Northwoods League. This was Morgan&#039;s third year on Lakeshore&#039;s coaching staff. He served as an assistant coach in 2012 before becoming field manager in 2013. Eddy guided the Chinooks to a 50-21 regular season record and a perfect 4-0 in the playoffs. Morgan&#039;s 2014 squad also captured the 2014 Northwoods League Championship and were named the #1 summer collegiate team in the country by Perfect Game. Eddy is also the head baseball coach for Concordia University of Wisconsin.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tChinooks&nbsp;assistant coach Mark Moriarty was named the Northwoods League Coach of the Year. Moriarty serves as the team&#039;s pitching coach and has assisted Morgan the past two seasons. He also is an assistant coach for Concordia University. Back in 2004, Mark pitched for the Madison Mallards when they captured the Northwoods League Championship.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tKapco Park was named the Best Playing Surface for 2014. This is the second time in three years that Kapco Park and the Chinooks were awarded this honor.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThree Lakeshore players were named to the annual Post-Season All-Stars list: Andrew Elliott, Brett Siddall, and Jake Tuttle.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAndrew Elliott (Wright State) was the Chinooks closer throughout the season. He was a perfect 13 for 13 in save opportunities. He ended the regular season with a 0.73 ERA and a 2-0 record. Andrew was&nbsp;part&nbsp;of the South Division for the 2014 NWL All-Star Game and was named the starting pitcher for the squad. Elliott also participated in the Northwoods League&#039;s Big League Dreams Showcase in Madison this past August.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBrett Siddall (Canisius College)&nbsp;had an MVP-like season in 2014. Siddall&#039;s .313 batting average was good for second on the team. He ended the season with 41 hits, 8 HRs, and 41 RBIs. Siddall was the individual champion in the Northwoods League Home Run Challenge. He was also named to the South Division squad for the Northwoods League All-Star Game and played in the Big League Dreams Showcase.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJake Tuttle (UW-Milwaukee) was one of the Chinooks best arms out of the bullpen this season. Tuttle pitched 25 innings during the regular season and didn&#039;t give up a single run. Jake recorded 24 strikeouts throughout the regular season. Tuttle played in the Big League Dreams Showcase in August.
