\n\tMadison, WI- The representatives from the Chinooks shined in the spotlight of Tuesday’s Major League Dreams Showcase, hosted by the Madison Mallards.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tIn game two, the four Lakeshore players, Matthew Mika (Central Florida), Rylan Thomas (Central Florida), Daniel DeSimone (Oklahoma State), and Nick Campe (Olivet Nazarene), all played a role for their respective teams.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe game was split into two teams, the “Home” team and the “Visiting” team. The Home squad defeated the Visiting team 13-7, with the Willmar Stingers’ Gus Varland getting the start for the Visiting team and the Madison Mallards’ Nate Brown getting the call for the Home team.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tMatthew Mika was the leadoff hitter for the Visiting team, and went 2-4 with a 2-run homer and a single, before eventually getting replaced in the game.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tRylan Thomas started for the Home team, batting cleanup, and went 3-5 with a 3-run homer and two singles.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tDaniel DeSimone started for the Home team as well, batting sixth, and went 0-3 but drew two walks and scored a pair of runs.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tNick Campe was the sixth man used out of the Home team bullpen, tossing a scoreless inning, surrendering just a walk, striking out two.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe four Chinooks will return back home to Mequon, as the Chinooks battle the Woodchucks Wednesday night for a final playoff push.\n<\/p>\n
