With the bases loaded and two outs, Drew Ober delivered a clutch two-strike hit up the middle to make it a 3-0 ballgame. \u00a0Jake Randa (NW Florida State) knocked in an insurance run in the top of the ninth to make the score 4-0. The Mallards are now 8-0 when leading after seven innings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Top Mallards<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Drew Ober <\/strong>delivered 3 RBIs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brian Martinez <\/strong>earned the win with shutout innings in the fifth, sixth and seventh<\/li>\n<li><strong>Justin Watland<\/strong> gave up only two hits and struck out four in his four innings of work<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tanner Rogen <\/strong>sealed the victory with scoreless frames in the eighth and ninth to end the game<\/li>\n<li><strong>Max Hewitt<\/strong> (Oklahoma State) was solid defensively at second base and added two base hits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Next Up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Mallards return home to Warner Park tomorrow night, Wednesday June 13, and go for their eleventh win in a row in the second game of the series with the Lakeshore Chinooks. \u00a0First pitch is 7:05 pm, and gates open at 5:30.
