The Mallards had a league-leading eight players featured in the game and a handful of them made strong contributions in the victory. Mallards outfielder <strong>Jake Randa<\/strong>(NW Florida State) collected a pair of doubles and knocked in the game\u2019s first run in the sixth inning. Mallards hitters combined to go 3-for-10 at the plate and Madison pitchers worked 1.2 innings and did not allow a single hit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Mallards in Action<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Second baseman <strong>Trevor Schwecke <\/strong>(UW-Milwaukee) went 1-for-3 at the plate and drew a walk while also scoring one of the South Division\u2019s two runs<\/li>\n<li>Outfielder <strong>Drew Campbell <\/strong>(Louisville) was hitless through his two plate appearances<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jake Randa <\/strong>led the South side with two-hits and collected one of only three RBIs in the ballgame.<\/li>\n<li><strong>David Vinsky <\/strong>(Northwood) saw one plate appearance but did not reach base. Vinsky contributed to two outs in the field. The South Division did not make a single error in the game.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tyler Plantier <\/strong>(Richmond) was hitless against the North\u2019s best pitchers but added an assist in the field<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carson Ragsdale <\/strong>(South Florida) and <strong>Trace Norkus<\/strong>(North Florida) both worked 0.2 scoreless frames, Norkus tallied one strikeout<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dalton Wiggins <\/strong>(Marietta) came in to get the game\u2019s final out in the top of the ninth inning, inducing a lineout to end the ballgame and earn the save.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Next Up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mallards will return to the Duck Pond after the All-Star break on July 26 to take on the Rockford Rivets at 7:05 PM.
