Madison Mallards and the Wisconsin Alumni Association Team Up to Bring \u201cOn Wisconsin Night\u201d to The Duck Pond
\n<\/b>Maynard G. Mallard and Buckingham U. Badger bring a double dose of festive fun to the Duck Pond\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The Madison Mallards are excited to announce their partnership with the Wisconsin Alumni Association <\/span>to bring \u201cOn Wisconsin Night\u201d to the Duck Pond at Warner Park on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the first time in team history, the Mallards will be collaborating with the Wisconsin Alumni<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Association for a promotional night that will feature a dual-branded bucket-hat giveaway to the first<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>1,000 fans through the gates at Warner Park. The hat will be reversible with Mallards and University of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Wisconsin-Madison logos.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis bucket hat is one of the coolest promotional items our team has ever made,\u201d team president, Vern <\/span>Stenman said. \u201cWe\u2019re so excited to bring a first-of-its-kind event to Warner Park to bring together <\/span>Mallards and Badger fans alike.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the bucket-hat giveaway, there will also be appearances from Bucky Badger, the UW Spirit<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Squad, and members of the UW Marching Band. They will take part in pregame activities, such as the <\/span>ceremonial first pitch and the national anthem, and will perform during the seventh-inning stretch and <\/span>throughout the game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to partner with the Madison Mallards and launch a new summer tradition for UW <\/span>alumni and Madison-area friends,\u201d said Sarah Schutt, the Wisconsin Alumni Association\u2019s chief alumni <\/span>officer and executive director. \u201cThe combined spirit of Duck Pond regulars and local Badgers will be a <\/span>terrific experience for all!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
