Madison, WI \u2013 March 17, 2009. Mark your calendars Mallards fans; it\u2019s time to roll out this year\u2019s day-of-the-week specials on food, tickets, and entertainment! Whether you\u2019re interested in bringing the entire family out or maybe just a few friends, there is a different promotion to fit your exact needs. This season for the first time ever, a 5-part bobblehead giveaway series will be featured for the first 1,000 fans entering the \u201cDuck Pond\u201d\u2014from the three-piece \u201cEvolution of Maynard\u201d to an old-school \u201cBobble Boy\u201d to a \u201cBrat Bobblehead.\u201d You will not want to miss a date in this collector\u2019s edition series!<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s day-of-the-week promotions go as follows:<\/p>\n

Sunday \u2013 The ever-popular Kids Eat Free promotion returns! All kids ages 14 and under will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, bag of chips, and fountain drink upon arrival.<\/p>\n

Monday \u2013 Mmmm it\u2019s Maynard Monday\u2019s! Fans have the opportunity to purchase a special package that includes 4 large hamburgers, 4 frosty root beer floats, and 4 bleacher tickets for only $40 (day of game only). And best yet, the food is prepared at the delicious Maynard\u2019s Slide In, your destination for everything hand-dipped and made-to-order right in front of you!<\/p>\n

Tuesday \u2013 Look beneath your seat cushions, if you have $2 and you\u2019re 21, this is your day! All domestic beer products are $2, and in order to satisfy your impending hunger, hot dogs are 2-for-$2!<\/p>\n

Wednesday \u2013 The Family Four-Pack returns! Receive 4 bleacher tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $28. These packages can be purchased on the day of games as well as in advance.<\/p>\n

Wednesday\u2019s will also feature \u201cCollege Night.\u201d The first 250 students (with valid college ID) will receive a free t-shirt along with the opportunity to receive 2-for-1 bleacher tickets and $3 off Duck Blind tickets, courtesy of Old Style.<\/p>\n

Thursday \u2013 The first 1,000 fans will receive a never-before-seen bobblehead the first four Thursday\u2019s (June 4, 11, July 16, 23), including \u201cMaynard Pitching,\u201d \u201cZip-Line Maynard,\u201d \u201cBobble-Brat Maynard,\u201d \u201cVintage Bobble Boy,\u201d and the \u201cEvolution of Maynard,\u201d featuring the team\u2019s first-ever three-piece bobblehead. The fifth and last bobblehead giveaway will be handed out on Wednesday, July 29.<\/p>\n

Also on Thursday\u2019s, the Great Dane Brew Pub \u201cBeer Sampling Series\u201d returns, giving fans ages 21 and over the opportunity to sample great brews prior to the Mallards game. <\/p>\n

\u201cWorking Man\u2019s Special\u201d returns as well! Fans can receive one bleacher ticket, 2 hot dogs, and 2 beers for only $10.70 (day of game only).<\/p>\n

Friday –\u00a0 The Friday night \u201cCelebrity Series\u201d is set to make another appearance at the \u201cDuck Pond\u201d this summer with a different former star featured on the seven dates. This year\u2019s cast is still being determined, but last season the series included Gary Coleman (Diff\u2019rent Strokes), Jerry Mathers (the \u201cBeav\u201d), Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster), and Anson \u201cPotsie\u201d Williams (Happy Days).<\/p>\n

Saturday \u2013 Saturday\u2019s will feature 3 Fireworks Shows plus, get this, 1 new-for-2009 Laser Light Show! Dates for fireworks are June 6, Rhythm & Booms on June 27, July 11, and July 18. The laser light show will be held on June 13. Post-game concerts will also rock out the \u201cDuck Pond\u201d on select Saturday\u2019s.<\/p>\n
