The Mallards are proud to announce two more additions to schedule for the final regular season home game on Sunday, August 14. The Hometown Sweethearts, one of Madison?s most well-known cover bands will play from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on the Great Dane Duck Blind prior to the Mallards final regular season home game. <\/p>\n

The Hometown Sweethearts will play as American Family Insurance and the Mallards team up for the World?s Largest First Pitch as part of Fan Appreciation Weekend. The World?s Largest First Pitch will provide anyone who comes out to the Duck Pond Sunday with the opportunity to participate in the pre-game ceremonial first pitch.<\/p>\n

The Freedom Skate Shop and skaters from Black Tooth Skateboards will also put on an exhibition at the Duck Pond from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. as well.<\/p>\n

The event will commence when the gates open at noon until 4:30 p.m. The Mallards encourage fans to show up early to enjoy the entire event which will include live music, 2-for-1 domestic taps, sodas, and hot dogs until 4:00 p.m. and other ballpark entertainment.<\/p>\n
