The King and his Court will be coming to entertain fans at the Duck Pond on July 29 as the Madison Mallards play the Rochester Honkers at 6:05 p.m.<\/p>\n

The King ? Eddie Feigner ? is known for his blistering fastball that can rival Rick Vaughn?s eliminator. Feigner has been clocked at 104 mph, and that?s a softball pitch.<\/p>\n

The King and his Court are akin to the Harlem Globetrotters. In addition to dominance in not-so-conventional games ? Feigner has pitched over 900 no-hitters ? and played basically everywhere ? over 10,000 games in 100 countries ? the four-man Court puts on a show rife with hijinks. For example, Feigner has been known to pitch from second base while blindfolded. <\/p>\n

The Court will be playing a short exhibition game before the Mallards-Honkers game, and Feigner will be available to sign autographs.<\/p>\n

Feigner?s fastball was named one of the 10 best in ?Baseball?s greatest pitches of all time,? an ESPN.com article by David Schoenfield. Feigner?s heater appeared alongside such signature pitches as Sandy Koufax?s curveball, Randy Johnson?s slider, Walter Johnson?s fastball and Pedro Martinez?s chageup.<\/p>\n

The King?s pitch beat out many notables to get on the list, including Steve Carlton?s slider, Roger Clemens? fastball, Satchel Paige?s hesitation pitch, Mariano Rivera?s cutter, Goose Gossage?s fastball, Bert Blyleven?s curveball, Nolan Ryan?s fastball, Whitey Ford?s scuffball and others.<\/p>\n

In a1967, two-inning exhibition game, Feigner struck out Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Brooks Robinson, Maury Wills, Harmon Killebrew and Roberto Clemente. <\/p>\n

Feigner has been touring with his three-man court for 61 years and is on his ?Farewell Tour.?<\/p>\n
