The Mallards have begun to release their 2007 tentative promotional schedule two promotions at a time every weekday.<\/p>\n

The promotion for the last game of the year will be announced first while working towards Opening Day on May 31, 2007. <\/p>\n

The promotions for Tuesday, June 19 include:
\nRyan Spilborghs\u2019 scale figurine Night! The first 1,000 fans 14 & under will receive a figurine of the first former Mallard in Major League Baseball! Spilborghs played for the Mallards in 2001 and debuted in 2005 for the Colorado Rockies. He is a career .287 hitter in 67 Major League games. <\/p>\n

This Tuesday and every Tuesday will also be Build Your Own Ticket Special Tuesdays! Prior to every Tuesday home game, Mallard fans will be able to vote on Mallardsbaseball.com for which ticket special will be offered at the next Tuesday game!<\/p>\n

On Saturday, June 16, it\u2019s the Great Dane Summertime St. Patty\u2019s Night! We\u2019ll have green beer on tap, the Mallards will play in green uniforms and the first 1,000 fans will receive a green Mallards t-shirt! The first 1,000 fans 14 & under will also receive a glow-in-the-dark baseball courtesy of Wells Fargo. The Kissers will play a pre and post game concert. <\/p>\n

Each Saturday throughout the season will feature the Budweiser Concert Series and post-game fireworks presented by Life Style Staffing. The Mallards are not responsible for any embarrassing mishaps that may occur as a result of excitement overload. Please dress accordingly.<\/p>\n

Fans will be able to vote at Mallardsbaseball.com to decide which giveaway the Mallards will have on Opening Day.<\/p>\n

The choices for the Opening Day giveaway are: sweat bands, bumper stickers, commemorative baseballs, and a mystery item.<\/p>\n

Stay tuned to Mallardsbaseball.com every weekday until April 25 for updates on next summer\u2019s promotions!<\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 26, the Madison Mallards will be giving fans and the media a preview to the 2007 season with the Mallards First Pitch. The event will be held at the Great Dane Brew Pub downtown location starting at 1:00 p.m. Mallards Head Coach C.J. Thieleke and P.A. Announcer Aaron Sims will speak about the 2007 roster accompanied by a slideshow. General Manager Vern Stenman will follow with a presentation about improvements to the ballpark along with insight about the completed promotional schedule. A fan question and answer session will follow. Admission is free to the public and appetizers, ballpark food, soda, and beer will be provided. Merchandise will also be available for purchase.<\/p>\n

The Mallards season starts Thursday May 31 at the Duck Pond. Group tickets are on sale now and single-game tickets go on sale April 28th. Call 246-4277 or log onto Mallardsbaseball.com for more information.<\/p>\n
