There are several Mallards alumni who are having productive 2007 campaigns with minor league organizations. Here is a look at who is standing out from the rest of the former Mallards pack.<\/p>\n

Mike Rozema (\u201903) Mississippi Braves (AA) \u2013 Atlanta Braves
\nInfielder Mike Rozema is playing consistent baseball at the AA level for the Atlanta Braves organization. In 23 games, Rozema has hit .280 with 15 runs scored. He is one of the squad\u2019s top offensive players, as he has collected four home runs, 14 runs batted in and a .352 on-base percentage for a Mississippi Braves team that sits in first place in the South Division of the Southern League.<\/p>\n

Brent Johnson (\u201901) West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (AA) \u2013 Seattle Mariners
\nIn 47 games this season with the Diamond Jaxx, outfielder Brent Johnson has made an impact at the AA level for a Mariners organization that is using many young players at the major league level. Johnson has hit .284 with 12 doubles, three home runs, and 19 runs batted in. Johnson has hit safely in six of his last seven games going 9-for-27 (.333) with five doubles and six runs batted in. Johnson went 3-5 on June 5 against Mississippi and 2-4 with two doubles on June 7 versus Huntsville. <\/p>\n

Jay Johnson (\u201904) Portland Sea Dogs (AA) \u2013 Boston Red Sox
\nThe Portland Sea Dogs baseball club sits a game above .500, and Jay Johnson has been one of the main contributors. Johnson has appeared in 33 games and is hitting .274. He holds an on-base percentage of .350 with 10 doubles and 18 runs batted in. On May 29, Johnson went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a triple against the Connecticut Defenders. <\/p>\n
