\n\tGreen Bay, WI – June 26, 2014.  The Madison Mallards (16-11) aim to build on their win yesterday tonight against the Green Bay Bullfrogs (12-17) in Green Bay after dominating the the Wisconsin Woodchucks (17-11) last night in a 13-3 victory. Kirby Snead (Florida) will start for the Mallards, his second of the year, against Green Bay pitcher Zac Butler (Lincoln Memorial).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSnead has pitched 10.2 innings for the Mallards this summer, holding a 1.68 ERA with ten strikeouts, having given up just two runs on two hits. In his last start, Snead tossed three scoreless innings, giving up no hits while striking out four.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tButler, a 6’0”, 185-pound righty out of Blue Springs, Missouri has appeared once for the Bullfrogs this year, pitching four innings and giving up one run on five hits, while walking and striking out three in a 4-3 loss against the Kenosha Kingfish.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLast night the Mallards were led offensively by Robbie Tenerowicz (California), who was 3-for-3 with three RBI and Trent Higginbothem (North Florida), who added two sacrifice flies and a single to finish with three RBI in the win over the Woodchucks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWinning pitcher Charlie Naso (Illinois) received his second victory of the season, striking out six batters in just 2.1 innings of work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Woodchucks went through six different pitchers, letting up 13 runs on 18 hits. With the win yesterday, the Mallards sit three games out of first place in the South Division.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mallards stay in Green Bay tomorrow to play the Bullfrogs at 7:05 pm before returning home on Saturday, June 28th to face the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:05 pm. Saturday night is 80's Night featuring an appearance by Jose Canseco in a post-game home run derby. There will also be a Capitol View Events Pre-Game 1985K.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
