\n\tThe Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League have announced their schedule for the 2015 season and released the 2015 dates for the ever popular 7-Game Packs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t2015 Mallards Schedule<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 7-Game Pack features all-you-can-eat ballpark food for the most popular games of the summer and more. 7-Game Packs include a free Mallards hat and will continue to feature guaranteed giveaways, a flexible ticket exchange policy, and priority seat selection for 2016.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mallards 7-Game Packs are split into three different packs; Package A (Entertainment Pack), Package B (Bobbleheads), and Package C (Post-Game Shows). \n\tThe Mallards will open their season at home for the first three games on May 26th<\/sup>, 27th<\/sup>, and 28th<\/sup> at Warner Park, aka the “Duck Pond.” The Mallards play 19 home games in May\/June, 12 in July, and five in August. This summer’s Mallards schedule features 17 games on Friday<\/span>, Saturday<\/span> or Sunday<\/span>. For the first time in the history the Mallards will host six 6:35 pm<\/span> start times in late May and early June.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first half of the season will be complete at the end of play on Tuesday, June 30th<\/sup>, with the second half beginning on Wednesday, July 1st<\/sup>. The first and second half division winners from both the North and South Divisions will meet in a best-of-three Divisional Playoff Series on August 10th<\/sup> thru August 12th<\/sup>. The North and South Division Champions will then meet in a best-of-three series for the Summer Collegiate World Series on August 13th<\/sup> thru August 15th<\/sup>.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mallards will play a double header at the “Duck Pond” on Monday, July 13th<\/sup>, against the La Crosse Loggers. Game one will start at 11:35 am<\/span> and game two will start at7:05 pm<\/span>. These games will be separately ticketed events.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFor the third consecutive year, the Mallards will host the Northwoods League Major League Dreams Showcase on August 4th<\/sup>.  This exhibition double header will feature the Top 100 players in the Northwoods League. The players will be voted by and selected by Major League Baseball scouts. Game one is scheduled for 4:05 pm<\/span>, with game two at 7:35 pm<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2015 Northwoods League All-Star Game will return to Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, July 21st<\/sup>. The Rafters last hosted the All-Star Game in 2011, which sold out prior to single game tickets going on sale and featured 33 players that went on to play professional baseball. Additional details regarding the 2015 All-Star festivities will be released at a later date.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere are no expansion franchises in the Northwoods League for 2015, therefore divisions will remain the same. The North Division franchises include the Eau Claire Express, Thunder Bay Border Cats, Waterloo Bucks, Mankato MoonDogs, Duluth Huskies, Willmar Stingers, Alexandria Blue Anchors, St. Cloud Rox, and Rochester Honkers. The South Division is comprised of the Madison Mallards, Kenosha Kingfish, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, Green Bay Bullfrogs, Lakeshore Chinooks, Wisconsin Woodchucks, La Crosse Loggers, Kalamazoo Growlers and the Battle Creek Bombers.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mallards will play their inter-divisional games against the Willmar Stingers and Alexandria Blue Anchors.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSingle-game tickets for all Mallards home games will go on sale Saturday, April 25th<\/sup>.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Madison Mallards are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd <\/sup>season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (BOS) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
