Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) opened the scoring with an RBI double in the bottom of the first, and Luciana Moreno (University of Pittsburgh) followed later in the inning with a two-run single to extend Madison&#8217;s lead to 3-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Madison continued to pile on in the second. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) delivered a two-run single to make it 5-0 before Kavanagh added an RBI single later in the inning. Kyra Smith (Colorado State University) capped the five-run frame with an RBI fielder&#8217;s choice, stretching the advantage to 7-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Night Mares put the game out of reach in the fourth inning. Addie Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) drove home a run with an RBI single before scoring on a wild pitch to make it 9-0. Trinity Kennemer (Metropolitan State University of Denver) then punctuated the afternoon with a three-run home run, extending Madison&#8217;s lead to 12-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brooke Mannon (Indiana University) earned the win after allowing just one run over five innings.
