A versatile and dynamic utility player, Louvar brings a strong all-around game, adding depth and flexibility to an already formidable squad. She is set to make an immediate impact as the Habaneros aim to defend their title. With Louvar on board, the team is poised to continue its winning tradition and bring even more heat to the competition this season.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I got to ask Marleigh how being a utility player affects her mindset on the field, or if it doesn\u2019t change it at all. She said that \u201cwhether she is at second, short, or third, there is a job that needs to be done, and she will compete at a high level while doing anything her coaches ask of her.&#8221; This speaks volumes about the team player that Marleigh is on the field, willing to accomplish any task.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Improvement is a big part of the Northwoods league, and no team develops players better than the Habaneros. I asked Marleigh what aspect of her game she is looking to improve. She said she strives to get 1% better every day and believes that playing for the Habaneros will help her grow both on and off the field, one step at a time on this journey.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I asked Marleigh what message she had for her Habaneros teammates. She expressed her excitement to get out on the field and share the same common goals and strong work ethic with her team. A highly competitive player, Marleigh can\u2019t wait to embrace the game alongside her new teammates. After speaking with her, it\u2019s clear that she is a team-first player. Once again, the Habaneros have made an outstanding addition with this signing.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Come see Marleigh and the Habaneros play at ISG Field for the season kickoff on June 12<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> as the Habaneros faceoff against the Minot Honeybees at 6:35pm.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559731&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">###<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Leveraging the 31-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) is the first for-profit Women\u2019s Summer Collegiate Softball League in the Upper Midwest entering its second season in the summer of 2025.\u00a0 The purpose of the League is to provide an opportunity for players to develop for their college, Olympic and future professional play.\u00a0Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
