Madison regained the lead with two runs scoring on wild pitches before Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) cleared the bases with a three-run double, extending the Night Mares&#8217; lead to 7-3. Madison added another run later in the inning to take an 8-3 advantage.<\/p>\n<p>The Night Mares continued to build momentum in the third, erupting for seven runs to stretch their lead to 15-3. Neither team scored in the fourth inning.<\/p>\n<p>Madison added one final run in the fifth to make it 16-3, securing the victory by the 10-run mercy rule after five innings.<\/p>\n<p>The Habaneros return to action Monday when they travel to La Crosse to take on the Steam.
