CLOUD, MINN \u2013 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Mankato MoonDogs outlasted the St. Cloud Rox in a wild extra-inning battle on Sunday, scoring four runs in the 10th inning to secure a 16-12 victory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mankato wasted no time taking control, erupting for six runs in the opening inning before piling on throughout the game. The MoonDogs finished with 21 hits, with six different players recording multiple hits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Evan Saunders (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wichita State University) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">led the offense, going 4-for-6 with a home run, double, three runs scored, and two RBIs. Preston Bonn (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">North Carolina State University<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) drove in three runs on a pair of hits, while Sam Erickson (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lamar University<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) also tallied three RBIs. Charlie Longmeier (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">University of Evansville) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">scored three times and collected three hits, and Liam Ebbs (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wofford College) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and Josey Williamson (Florida State University) each added three-hit performances.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After St. Cloud battled back to tie the game at 12 through nine innings, the MoonDogs answered in the top of the 10th. Nico Libed (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UC Santa Barbara)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> delivered an RBI single, and Mankato regained control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alex Blume (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alexandria Tech CC) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief to keep the game tied before Landon Dodge (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">San Diego State University) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">worked a scoreless 10th to seal the win.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The MoonDogs will look to carry the momentum into their next matchup against the Rox Monday night.
