In tonight\u2019s game featuring the Rochester Honkers and the Mankato MoonDogs, the Honkers were able to stifle the red-hot MoonDogs of late, and win 6-2.<\/p>\n

The scoring started early for both teams as the Honkers took the lead in the top of the first only to give up 2 runs in the bottom half of the inning. In the second, the Honkers returned the favor scoring two more of their own, and never relinquished the lead.<\/p>\n

Aaron Grant remained unstoppable both at the plate and in the field. Grant showed why he was selected to this year\u2019s All-Star team going 2-3 at the plate and throwing out a runner from centerfield in the top of the seventh. Grants one-hopper to Jeremy McIntire was just in time as McIntire was hit hard, but held onto the ball.<\/p>\n

Jonny Ash was 2-4 for the second consecutive night. Shaun Corning picked up his third loss on the season while Owen Hoegh for Rochester got his third win.<\/p>\n
