MoonDogs starting pitcher, Manny Bishop, escaped trouble the first few innings without giving up a run. Bishops luck ran out in the top of the fourth inning with the Huskies scoring once to take a 1-0 lead. <\/p>\n
Duluth touched up newly acquired MoonDog, Alex Kringen for two runs in the top of the seventh to lead 3-0.<\/p>\n
After baffling MoonDogs hitters all night and getting the first two outs in the seventh, Huskies starter Brandon Rinnan ran out of gas. The \u2018Dogs rally began with a two out double by Brian Steinmeyer. <\/p>\n
Jimmy Stombach followed up with a double of his own to score Steinmeyer. The MoonDogs loaded the bases before pinch-hitter Brandon Fromm struck out to end the threat.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s as close the \u2018Dogs would get, as the Huskies bullpen pitched 2.1 innings of no-hit ball to preserve the win.<\/p>\n
Brian Steinmeyer finished 2-4 with 2 doubles and a run scored. Pitcher Neil Wagner came in relief in the ninth and struck out the side. <\/p>\n
