\n\tThe Mankato MoonDogs dropped a 4-3 heartbreaker in walk-off fashion at Simmons Field in Kenosha, WI on Sunday evening.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe MoonDogs again struck first in the ballgame, scoring runs on an RBI double and an RBI single off the bat of Levi Scott in the first and third innings.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tHowever, Kenosha picked up two runs in the fourth to tie the ballgame at 2-2 and eventually took a 3-2 lead after scoring a run in the home half of the eighth.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tScott brought the MoonDogs back in the game with a long solo blast over the left-centerfiel wall knotting the game at 2-2 in the top of the ninth.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tHowever, the Kingfish got a run of their own in the ninth on a single to left field with the bases loaded and just one out to win the series finale 4-3 in walk-off fashion.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tScott led the MoonDogs going 3-4 with three RBI while Craig Lepre finished the night with two hits.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tCord Cockrell was terrific in his first start of the season for the MoonDogs, tossing 7 2\/3 innings allowing just two runs on four hits and struck out one. Mark Curtis suffered the loss for the MoonDogs while Brett Shimanovsky picked up the win for the Kingfish.\n<\/p>\n
\n\t Following the road finale the MoonDogs head home to Mankato to face Willmar at “The Frank.” First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.\n<\/p>\n
