\n\tMANKATO-Minn. The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League is happy to announce a number of exciting promotions coming up at Franklin Rogers Park.  Fans are encouraged to come out to the park and join the fun!\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen the MoonDogs return home on June 24th<\/sup><\/strong>, we will be having Minnesota Twins Night presented by KTOE. There will be a chance to win tickets to the MLB All-Star Game in Minnesota as well as player\/alumni and Twins Mascot TC Bear will be on hand along with Sue Nelson, the Twins organist. Make sure to come out in your best Minnesota Twins gear!\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tJune 26th<\/sup><\/strong> is Wine, Women, and Baseball Night which will feature a diamond giveaway to one lucky lady, presented by Save Mor Jewelry, Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery and Minnesota 93.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJune 27th<\/sup><\/strong> is our full sized bay giveaway presented by KXLP. The first 400 kids in attendance to the game will receive a full sized MoonDogs bat.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJune 28th<\/sup><\/strong> The MoonDogs will be helping to raise breast cancer awareness by wearing pink jerseys and hats that will be auctioned off throughout the night with proceeds going to a local Susan G. Komen team.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJune 29th<\/sup><\/strong> Bring your stomach ready to eat some of Mankato’s best barbeque. It’s the Dickey’s Barbeque Eating Contest. Also, it’s faith night at the Frank.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJune 30th<\/sup> <\/strong>Dress as your favorite comic book hero and help us celebrate Mankato’s finest safety heroes. Kids will have the chance to meet the MoonDogs very own cast of comic book super heroes as well.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJuly 3rd<\/sup> <\/strong>Come dressed in red, white, and blue and celebrate America’s birthday with us at the Frank.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tOther season promotional highlights include a Fireworks Extravaganza on July 11th<\/sup><\/strong>, Dollar Dog Night on July 16th<\/sup><\/strong>, and Minnesota Vikings Night on August 1st<\/sup><\/strong>. Also, we are excited to announce the Zooperstars National Entertainment Act will be coming to the Frank this year, despite the rain postponed game earlier this week. You can see them in action on August 3rd<\/sup> as the MoonDogs will also be hosting Military Appreciation Night on the same day.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mankato MoonDogs are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
