Mankato, Minn.<\/b> \u2013 The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, of the Northwoods League, is excited to announce the addition pitchers Nathan Hadley, Reese Eddins and catcher Kaden Moore to the MoonDogs 2015 Roster.<\/p>\n

Nathan Hadley is a 5\u201911, 180-pound Freshman right handed pitcher out of UCLA. The Los Angles, California native is in his first season for the Bruins. In his senior season in high school he posted an 8-1 record with a 1.53 ERA in 59.2 innings. In 2014 he was included in Perfect Game USA\u2019s list of Top 500 High School prospects. He also received an All-State first team selection and Mission League Pitcher of the Year in 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cHadley is a guy who can pitch in the back end of bullpen in tight baseball games, as well as a guy, who can start games for us,\u201d said Field Manager Ryan Day.<\/p>\n

For the Bruins in 2015, Hadley has yet to see the mound.<\/p>\n

Reese Eddins is a 6\u20195, 203-pound Freshman right handed pitcher out of the University of Nebraska. The Lee\u2019s Summit, Missouri native is in his first season with the Huskers. In 2014 Eddins was the 12th<\/sup> overall player in the sate of Missouri by Perfect Game, lead his high school to their ever, state tournament appearance, where they placed third. He was also the first player in Jackson County to throw back-to-back no-hitters.<\/p>\n

\u201cEddins is a big physical right-handed pitcher who we expect to be somewhere in our starting rotation this summer,\u201d said Day. \u201cHe\u2019s a young live arm who is continuing to develop and we are extremely excited to have him with us for the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the Huskers in 2015, Eddins has appeared in two games throwing a total of 2.2 innings while striking out one and not allowing a walk.<\/p>\n

Kaden Moore is a 6\u20193, 215-pound Junior catcher for Indiana State University. The South Sioux City, Nebraska native is in his first season for the Sycamores. Moore spent the last two seasons at Iowa Western Community College who in 2014 won DI NJCAA National Title and in 2013 was named an All-Region IX Honorable Mention. In high school he was named All-State in his Junior and Senior seasons and holds South Sioux High records for home runs, batting average, and RBI.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoore is a solid all-around catcher,\u201d said Day. \u201cHe will be a tremendous asset for us defensively and will provide us with another hitter who can go gap to gap and drive in runs.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the Sycamores in 2015, Moore has appeared in 17 games, 16 starts, with a .294 average while driving in eight.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll three players will be key contributors to the MoonDogs this summer and we feel very fortunate to have them spending the summer in Mankato,” said Day.<\/p>\n

The MoonDogs home opener is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, at 7:05 p.m. against the Rochester Honkers at Franklin Rogers Park. Season tickets are now on sale at the MoonDogs office located at 1221 Caledonia Street.<\/p>\n
