\n\tST. CLOUD, MN – Boomer Synek and Eric Schenck Joblinske each hit long home runs against St. Cloud to help the MoonDogs to their second straight win, 10-3 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud on Sunday.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Mankato MoonDogs (5-8) were able to score 10 runs on 10 hits while having their first error-less game of the season in St. Cloud. The MoonDogs offense exploded as they hit two long balls against the St. Cloud Rox (7-4).\n<\/p>\n
\n\tEric Schenck-Joblinske and Boomer Synek both hit two-run homeruns for the MoonDogs, also contributing a combined five hits, four runs scored, four RBIs, and working one walk. Leading the pitching staff into the game was Austin Warner (1-0), who despite getting a no decision in the game and not having his best day on the mound, was able to pitch effectively. He recorded two strikeouts to bring his season total to 20, and only allowed three hits. Wyatt Wood came in to pitch for the MoonDogs, eventually getting the win after posting 3.0 Innings pitched while allowing no runs on two hits with three strikeouts in relief. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tRox center fielder Ryan Serrano lead the team, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs. Serrano hit a two-run homer for the Rox as well, but it wouldn’t be enough to get the Rox past Mankato. Andrew Clemen would get the loss for St. Cloud, going 5.0 innings giving up four runs (three were earned) on six hits with six strikeouts.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tMankato is now on a two-game winning streak, and will face off against the Rox again Monday at Franklin Rogers Park for a 7:05 PM game. It will be Pirate and Princesses night at The Frank, so come see the game and don’t forget to dress up!\n<\/p>\n
