{"id":4592,"date":"2015-06-09T03:04:59","date_gmt":"2015-06-09T03:04:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/mankato-moondogs\/?p=4592"},"modified":"2015-06-09T03:07:18","modified_gmt":"2015-06-09T03:07:18","slug":"late-rally-pushes-rox-past-moondogs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/mankato-moondogs\/2015\/06\/09\/late-rally-pushes-rox-past-moondogs\/","title":{"rendered":"Late Rally Pushes Rox Past MoonDogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tMankato, MN &ndash; Despite a Craig Nennig homerun, the MoonDogs earned a series split as they dropped Monday night&rsquo;s game at Franklin Rogers Park by a score of 5-4 to the St. Cloud Rox.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn the ninth inning the St. Cloud Rox (8-4) were able to plate the winning run off of the Mankato MoonDogs (5-9) hard throwing reliever Ricky Rameriz. Rameriz worked the final frame giving up the one run on two hits and took the loss.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tConnor O&rsquo;Neil &nbsp;(0-1) took to the hill for the MoonDogs in the start and worked eight innings scattering five hits, allowing four runs while fanning four. Despite a strong performance, in his fourth appearance on the mound, O&rsquo;Neil would not get a decision.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCraig Nennig provided the pop for the MoonDogs as he went 2-for3 driving in all four of the MoonDog runs on the night. Nennig had a 5th inning three run go-ahead homerun. Sulliam Rios Reyes also added two hits as he went 2-for-4.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFor the Rox Trevor Charpie (1-0) picked up the win in relief, his first of the season. Toby Hanson lead the Rox offensively as he went 2-for-4 scoring a run and drove in a pair.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe MoonDogs continue the five game home stand tomorrow as they face of against the Alexandria Blue Anchors, 7:05pm at The Frank for the fan favorite ZOOperstars!&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;line-height: 18.1818180084229px\">&ldquo;The Mankato MoonDogs are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
